The address was given by the Rev Harry E Ross who reiterated the importance of Masonry in our everyday lives, stressing the importance of being recognised as ambassadors for Masonry and not forgetting our Masonic lives when away from the Masonic halls and whilst engaged in our everyday business. The service was conducted by the Rector of Warrington, the Rev P D Wilson and W.Bro the Rev GH  Buchan, a former member of Red Rose Lodge No 6007.

The readings were given by W.Bro CAS Todd and the Rev PD Wilson. Special mention of thanks were given to the organisers, Derek Bowden and Gwilym Jones, with Stephen Derringer responsible for the music. The service is seen as a major event in the Warrington calendar and other group officials from Woolton and Widnes were in attendance.

A collection taken resulted in more than £360 being raised which was donated to the church.
All who attended were invited along to the Masonic hall to indulge in light refreshments.

Peter Connolly hopes more Mark Masons will attend in 2014.
